Services
Professional support:
The church has a number of service affiliates, including experienced social workers and educational psychologists. If parents have any questions in education or problems in their family, we can offer appropriate support, education and psychological guidance services. The school will also hold parenting seminars and parent-child workshops with professional organizations to encourage parents to work with the school to ensure children’s healthy growth.
Occasional Child Care Service:
Offer occasional care service for 2-6 years old children for parents who go out on business, to avoid children from being left home alone. The service hours are the same as the opening hours. Service fees are in consistency with regulations of the Social Welfare Department. For details, please contact us.
Extended Hours Service:
Offer extended hours service for families in need of long time care for children, enabling parents to participate in some long-time or sporadic work. Service time: Monday to Friday: 6: 00 pm - 7: 00 pm Saturday: 1: 00 pm - 6: 00 pm Service fees are in consistency with regulations of the Social Welfare Department: $ 13 per hour.
Integrated Services:
Provide services for children with special learning needs according to recommendations by medical social workers.
School-based social worker:
1.Student service
Strengthen students’ self-confidence and problem-solving abilities, help students develop good character and improve their social skills; support students with different needs so as to provide appropriate and practical guidance services.
2. Family service
Encourage parents to participate in the cultivation of children, and grow together with children through family care; provide suitable methods for parents with different needs to improve their parenting skills.
Pre-school Rehabilitation Service:
1.Provide early intervention and training for children with special needs
2.Help parents/caregivers maintain a positive attitude while educating children with special needs and enhance their education skills
3.Improve teachers' skills in identifying and dealing with children with special needs
